This outfit feels very french to me... though maybe with heels it would feel more so. I wore this out with my family to my dad's birthday which was a week ago when the pics were taken. anyways happy hannuka and merry christmas!!

האאוטפיט הזה מרגיש לי מאוד צרפתי... למרות שאולי עם עקבים זה היה מרגיש יותר. לבשתי את זה לפני שבוע ומשהו ליציאה עם המשפחה לכבוד היומולדת של אבא שלי. בכל מקרה חנוכה וחג מולד שמח!!

Technically, winter here isn't that winter-y and especially the last few days have been pretty warm. these gorgeous lace shorts are from chicwish which have all kinds of beautiful things and even though my mom says they look like underpants from the 17th century I think they're awesome!

כמו שידוע החורף בארץ לא כזה חורפי ובמיוחד בימים האחרונים ככה שאין ממש צורך בבגדי חורף מטורפים. מכנסי התחרה האלו הם מ"צ'יקוויש" שזה אתר עם מלא בגדים יפים ומיוחדים ואפילו שאמא שלי אומרת שהמכנס נראה כמו תחתון מהמאה ה-17 אני עדיין חושבת שהם מדהימות!

Lori's B-day

Last Saturday was one of my best friend's birthday! We had a really fancy girls night out at this tappas bar called "Vicky-Christina" and all in all it was an awesome night! it was especially great to see the girls after not being together for quite some time!

שבת שעברה הייתה היומולדת של חברתי המהממת לורה! היה לנו ערב בנות מהודר ביותר בטאפאס בר במתחם התחנה "ויקי-כריסטינה" והיה ערב מעולה!
היה בעיקר ממש כיף לראות את הבנות אחרי שלא התראינו המון זמן!

bolivian memories

I am almost ashamed of myself for not posting for such a long time! sadly I have been so consumed by school that I have neglected posting but I will try to be better! It's weird that I have been in school for about a month now- things have been intense and I think I've been taking things too seriously, so it's good for me to take a few moments away..
These pictures were taken I think two weeks ago (!) but it's better late than never! the skirt isn't really a skirt it's fabric that i got in Bolivia ( though not really a bolivian pattern) and i just put a belt on half and folded it and put another belt on top!

אני כמעט ומתביישת בעצמי על זה שלא העלתי פוסטים בזמן האחרון! לצערי הייתי כל כך שקועה בלימודים שפשוט זנחתי את הבלוג, אבל אני אנסה להשתפר!
זה מוזר שאני לומדת כבר בערך חודש- הכל היה כל כך אינטנסיבי ואני לוקחת דברים כאלה די ברצינות, אז טוב לי להתרחק קצת...

התמונות האלו צולמו לפני בערך שבועיים (!) אבל עדיף מאוחר מלעולם לא! החצאית היא לא באמת חצאית אלא בד שקניתי בבוליביה (למרות שהיא לא דוגמא מסורתית) פשוט עטפתי את עצמי שמתי חגורה מתחת וקיפלתי ומעל שמתי את החגורה השניה!

Today is Tuesday which is my day off from school, well, sort of cause I have so much to do! Though I'm really enjoying it all! yesterday we worked in the school workshop with the different electrical saws. It was really quite scary but really cool at the same time!
the outfit I'm wearing is actually from Sunday I just had alot of stuff to do then and yesterday I got home and was too tired and lazy to do it!

היום יום שלישי, שזה היום חופש שלי מהלימודים, בערך האמת כי יש לי מלא דברים לעשות! האמת שאני ממש נהנת מכל הדברים האלו! אתמול עבדנו בסדנא של המכללה והתנסינו בלנסר חתיכות עץ עם כמה מסורים חשמליים שונים. זה היה די מבהיל אבל ממש מגניב בו זמנית!
מה שאני לובשת בתמונות זה מיום ראשון אבל היה לי המון מה לעשות ואתמול הגעתי הביתה והייתי עייפה ועצלנית מידי כדי להעלות את התמונות!

this is a dress I saw a while ago in Marie claire, and I am in LOVE with it, even though metallics isn't my usual style, i think the detail on it is amazing.

new beginings

My first week in school is over! and so far I'm really loving it. School-wise everything is more or less interesting and fun and people-wise everyone is really nice so far. The only thing is that we already have ton's to do, though from the first day I've had a craving to go shopping! especially since i spotted this pair of shoes (well two pairs really) that I really want! I have a feeling I'm going to be really broke by the end of this degree!
השבוע הראשון בלימודים נגמר! בינתיים אני ממש מרוצה. מבחינת לימודים רוב השיעורים ממש מעניינים ומבחינת אנשים כולם עד עכשיו מקסימים. הדבר היחיד הוא שכבר עכשיו יש לנו מלא עבודה והאמת היא שמהיום הראשון בלימודים יש לי מעין רצון עז לצאת לעשות שופינג! במיוחד אחרי שראיתי זוג נעליים (טוב..שני זוגות) שאני ממש רוצה. יש לי הרגשה שאני אהיה ממש ענייה עד סוף התואר!

curiouser and curiouser!

Today was my first day of school! wow, I think I'm in shock or something, it was a really short day but I already don't really know what's going on and I'm quite confused.. i guess tomorrow I'll get a better hang on things, so yeah, i'm not even really sure what to say cause it was just different!
 היום היה היום הראשון שלי בלימוד ונראה לי שאני בשוק או משהו כי לא ממש קלטתי מה הולך ואני עד עכשיו קצת מבולבלת! אני מקווה ומאמינה שמחר אני כבר יותר אכנס לעניינים. זהו האמת שאין לי כל כך מה להגיד כי זה היה פשוט כל כך שונה!

    the dress is from a vintage sale from Tel-aviv a couple of years ago, the belt is forever21 and the shoes are from Togo. the over shirt is my mom's- i tend to "steal" alot of her stuff! by the way that's also my gorgeous dog Koka!
השמלה היא ממכירת וינטג' שהייתה בתל אביב לפני איזה שנתיים, החגורה היא מפוראבר21 והנעליים מ-טו גו. החולצה שייכת לאמא שלי- יש לי נטייה "לגנוב" לה הרבה דברים מהארון! דרך אגב זאת גם הכלבה המהממת שלי קוקה!

my mom's skirt

I can't beleive I'm starting school tomorrow, it's extremely weird and exciting.. mostly i'm thinking about what to wear tomorrow though haha! yesterday my mom and I had a really nice day in the Jaffa market which i really love, even though yesterday i didn't find the greatest things- but i did get two pairs of vintage levis- one long one short (thanks mom!). the thing about that market is that it has a mix of real market stalls- you know the kind! and some cool vintage/ designer stores. Anyways- good luck to all those starting school!

אני לא מאמינה שאני מתחילה ללמוד מחר, זה מוזר ומרגש בו זמנית.. בעיקר אני חושבת כרגע על מה ללבוש מחר חח!  אתמול אמא שלי ואני הלכנו לשוק הפשפשים ביפו, שזה אחד המקומות האהובים עליי למרות שאתמול לא התלהבתי כל כך מהדברים. בכל זאת קניתי אבל שני זוגות ג'ינס- אחד קצת אחד ארוך. אני פשוט אוהבת את השילוב בשוק של החנויות והבאסטות.בכל מקרה בהצלחה לכל מי שמתחיל ללמוד מחר!

lost handcuffs

this morning my friend Noa and I wanted to go to a thrift store another friend of mine told me about, yet sadly it was closed.. so we walked around the city, had lunch and shopped and we took some photos next to this abandoned house and suddenly I saw a pair of handcuffs, which i guess somebody forgot there? haha, it was quite strange. at least we had a really nice day.

היום אני וחברה שלי נועה רצינו ללכת לחנות יד שניה שחברה אחרת לקחה אותי אליה פעם, לצערי היא הייתה סגורה אז פשוט הסתובבנו בעיר, עשינו קצת קניות ואכלנו צהריים. חוץ מזה הצטלמתי ליד בית נטוש ופתאום מצאתי זוג אזיקים, שאולי מישהו שכח שם? בכל מקרה זה היה הזוי. העיקר שהיה יום ממש נחמד.

lovely shoes

so, usually i wear heels that are really high, but i've been seeing these shoes lately with the lower heel and i really love them.. they just have like a storybook vibe to them.. like they sort of remind me of alice in wonderland, not sure why but it seems to me like something she would wear. i definitely want a pair in this style, the thing is though that i don't wear leather so i need to start looking around for something non-leather and gorgeous.. happily there are many places out there making great shoes from other materials so i'm sure i'll find something nice!
אז, בדרך כלל אני נועלת עקבים הרבה הרבה יותר גבוהים מאלו, אבל בזמן האחרון יצא לי לראות את הסגנון עקב הזה ואני ממש אוהבת אותו.. הם מזכירים לי סיפורים של פעם, כמו אליסיה בארץ הפלאות.. לא בטוחה למה אבל זה נראה לי משהו שהיא הייתה נועלת!

אני ממש הייתי רוצה להשיג לי זוג בסגנון הזה, הדבר היחיד הוא שאני לא לובשת עור בשום צורה שהיא .. אבל היום יש מלא מקומות שמוכרים נעליים לא מעור וגם ברמה טובה אז אני בטוחה שאני אמצא!
